INSTALLATION
Bullet resisting glass must always be installed in accordance with current standards and regulations. Glazing should always be installed in frames of an equivalent performance rating. We recommend that entire assemblies be performance tested. Can be used in insulated glazing units. For bullet resisting glass with surface applied spall protection fi lm, ensure that the fi lm side is not exposed to direct sunlight and is glazed towards the interior of the building. Do not use in extremely humid conditions such as saunas, heated pools etc which would require additional evaluation and precautions.
Dimensional tolerances on processed glass are +/- ⅛”in height and width. Thick laminated glass can have some variation in color due to the number of materials used and a limited number of bubbles, inclusions or fl aws are considered acceptable; see acceptance specifi cation for details.
MAINTENANCE & CARE
To maintain the aesthetics, it is important to keep the lite clean. A soft, clean, non-abrasive cloth and a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive window cleaning solution is suitable for cleaning. After cleaning, rinse immediately with clean water and remove any excess water from the lite surface. Do not allow any metal or hard parts of the cleaning equipment to come in contact with the lite surface. Take extra care of the spall protection surface fi lm, as it can be scratched or discolored by non-glass cleaners.
Failure to comply with any of the Labeling, Storage & Handling, Installation, and/or Maintenance & Care guidelines may result in a loss of warranty.
